5 MINUTE MEAL IDEAS

We have all been there once or twice before, we start a diet or better yet, a life changing habit and we don't know where to start. Well don't look any further, here are 3 quick 5-minute meals that will satisfy your belly, scale, pockets and time.


1) Meal Replacement smoothie: grab an ounce of your favorite fruit, 2 ounces of a leafy green, a scoop of vanilla protein powder and 3 ounces of almond milk or water. (250 calories or less - $2 per person)


2) Pre-mixed salads: you can find these at your local groceries store or even better your local dollar store from under 2 bucks. Add grill chicken or another lean meat for protein (Under 200 calories - $1 per person)


3) Healthy shrimp stir fry: Add a bag of cooked shrimp and sauté in a bag of mixed vegetable or spinach w/ low sodium teriyaki sauce (Under 250 calories - $2 per person)


The goal is to always make life a bit easier, so try a few quick meals and enjoy the extra time to yourself.
